Time flies and that my friend is not an exaggeration. So far this week I have talked about getting organized and setting goals. Being organized helps to eliminate a great deal of stress in our lives. How is that, you ask? Well, when you are organized you can find things so much easier and this will save you aggravation, time and possibly money.
Setting goals, helps you to focus on what is important and gives us a sense of time. We need to write our goals down and set a time limit to get them done. Please, make sure that you set a reasonable time frame to get things done. It’s important to be realistic when setting goals.
Wasting time is something we have all done. The best way to find out if you are wasting time is to keep a “time” log. Write down everything you do and how much time you use doing it. This will give you an idea of where your time is going. It could be that you are trying to fit too much into your day and you are overwhelmed. Not only do we have a monetary budget, but we have a time budget as well. Just like our paychecks there’s only so much money and there’s only so much time We all, me included, have to be more aware of the time we are wasting.
I hope that some of my tips have been helpful. These are things we all know, but sometimes we need to be reminded. Next week I will be looking into some tips for managing and organizing the home.
What I love about life: getting organized so that I can relieve stress and write even more!!
Everyone have a great weekend, and thanks so much for reading,
